About Me

Hi there! I’m a theatrically trained voice actor, singer, improviser, and longtime voice teacher with a passion for meaningful communication. My voice has been described as golden-toned, intimate, and versatile—equally at home with grounded conversation, thoughtful authority, understated wit, and expressive storytelling.
I’ve voiced commercials, corporate narration, explainer videos, promos, award films, nonprofit campaigns—and even a toy. I love work that asks me to understand the larger idea, find the human story within it, and make the message resonate.
Before stepping behind the mic, I spent decades performing in theatre and musical theatre. I’ve also coached actors in voice and dialect and have been improvising for more than 10 years. That combination gave me a keen ear, strong storytelling instincts, and the ability to respond naturally and collaboratively in a session. I now teach at Berkeley Rep School of Theatre and VoiceOne in San Francisco while continuing to grow as an artist myself.
As the parent of a remarkable young adult on the autism spectrum, I’ve also learned the importance of patience, deep listening, and meeting people where they are. That perspective brings compassion and emotional intelligence to my work—whether I’m behind the mic, teaching a student, or collaborating with a creative team.
